DESCRIPTION:Nonprofit Expo\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLeague City’s second annual Nonprofit Expo is on Saturday\, March 29\, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center located at 400 West Walker Street. The Expo is an excellent opportunity for citizens to learn more about various nonprofit agencies in League City and throughout Galveston County that are ready and able to assist individuals and families in need. In addition\, residents of all ages can learn about volunteer opportunities in our community\, including various opportunities at different League City departments including Animal Care\, Police Department\, Library Services\, and Parks and Recreation. \nIn addition to nearly 70 booths featuring nonprofit groups\, there will be a variety of fun interactive activities for the entire family including yard games\, a demonstration by a LCPD K9 unit\, a SWAT display\, a Department of Public Safety helicopter\, live music\, and more.
